What is in the Starter Stack?
A Mixed Fruit and a Tart Cherry Energy Pastilles taster (60g carbs each), a Power Fluids drink mix taster and a reusable Adventure Pouch. About 174g of carbohydrate, enough for 2 to 3 hours of fuelling.
Who is the Starter Stack for?
Anyone new to FTP. Use it on one or two long sessions to find your flavour and test how pastilles and drink mix sit together before you buy by the kilo.
How should I use it?
Start with Power Fluids in your bottle, then take 2 pastilles every 20 to 30 minutes. Try both pastille flavours so you know which to order next.
Are the pastilles vegan and gluten free?
Yes, FTP Energy Pastilles are vegan and dairy free. They contain a gluten-free grade wheat starch, with gluten below 20ppm, and are packed in a facility that handles cereals and peanuts. They are made for adult endurance athletes and are not recommended for children.

Honestly tried the starter pack the pastilles are a great alternative to gels and the cherry tart carb drink is unbelievably tasty.

These are very tasty, the tart cherry flavour masks the sweetness quite well. A bit like the texture of Turkish delight. A easy way to get carbs in without having to carry lots of bulky foods.

Very easy to carry and consume. Tried them out on a training run and realised I needed a drink to wash my mouth out once consumed - not because I disliked the taste/feel but the outer sugar coating is quite sweet to my taste. I then used the remaining gels on the Nant yr Arian Silver Trail 1/2 - kept me going throughout especially ahead of long climbs. No stomach issues etc and will look to get some more for similar events and mountain biking.
